What I Do

I manage an active board portfolio, serving as an independent director for public and private corporations and not-for-profit organizations. With 40+ years of corporate experience, including over two decades of service on public boards, I am an expert on the topics of board governance and leadership. My executive career spanned three continents in marketing, retail operations, and international business development at Amoco, and subsequently, BP plc.  

I have served on boards across multiple industries including consumer services, consumer products, insurance, chemical manufacturing, and energy.

I advise boards and CEOs on the importance of courage, authenticity and inclusivity in driving accountability and performance through strong governance, and creating cultures where people feel empowered, valued, and inspired.

I am a frequent speaker on the topics of leadership, innovation, board governance, and driven to identify, promote, and connect authentic leaders who inspire organizations. As one who has had a career while raising a family, I also speak often about what it takes to manage multiple priorities and finding both fulfillment at work and happiness at home.

I am an advocate and mentor to many young professionals, and passionate about creating opportunities to overcome career barriers.
